Yaron Elad is a seasoned technology investor with nearly two decades of experience leading major investments and driving innovation across Israel’s high-tech sector. As CEO and Managing Partner of Elron Ventures and Rafael Development Corporation, he deployed over $500 million in capital and oversaw more than 20 M&A transactions, generating top-percentile VC returns.

Under his leadership, Elron Ventures evolved into a leading tech investment platform with strong partnerships with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, focusing on cybersecurity, SaaS, deep tech, and defense technologies. Yaron’s strategic vision and hands-on approach helped scale companies from early-stage startups to global leaders, delivering a significant legacy of successful exits and transformative growth. He also served as Chairman and board member in multiple technology startups, contributing his expertise to guide their strategic development.

In 2024, Yaron departed Elron together with Elik Etzion to establish AlphaDrive Ventures , a multi-stage Israeli-U.S. fund powering cybersecurity innovation for the AI era. The fund is anchored by Bank Leumi, Israel’s largest financial institution.

Yaron holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Tel Aviv University and is based in Tel-Aviv.
