Richard Green

Co-Founder & CEO, Clarion Project

Richard was the driving force behind the tremendous success of the Clarion Project’s founding mission: exposing terror organizations as significant threats to America and the West through the medium of filmmaking. His foresight in using documentaries as a tool for awareness has been instrumental in educating millions of people about the dangers posed by radical ideologies. Under Richard’s leadership, Clarion’s groundbreaking films reached a global audience, sparking conversations in living rooms, classrooms, and communities about the threat of terrorism.

Richard’s vision was to leverage storytelling to shift the national debate about radicalisms, and his strategy proved remarkably effective. By creating content that was both informative and accessible, he helped bridge the gap between complex counter-terrorism issues and the general public. Clarion’s short films and documentaries have been lauded for their ability to highlight the ideological roots of terrorism, prompting meaningful discussions on how to combat extremism both within and beyond the borders of the United States. As a result, Richard’s work has not only raised awareness but also equipped individuals with a better understanding of how extremist networks operate and the multifaceted nature of the threat they pose.

The Clarion Intelligence Network (CIN), a division of the Clarion Project, was developed under Richard’s leadership to detect and prevent violent extremism in the U.S., regardless of ideological affiliation or intended targets. CIN uses advanced open-source intelligence (OSINT) technology to swiftly identify individuals with both the intent and capability to harm others. CIN compiles detailed OSINT evidence packages on these threats and shares them with law enforcement agencies through standard tip channels, ensuring that federal, state, and local authorities are informed when the threat’s location is known. Through this initiative, Richard continues to expand Clarion’s influence in combating extremism, making the organization a critical player in national security efforts.
