Neal is CEO & Co-Founder of BEGiN ( www.beginlearning.com), one of the fastest growing platforms for early childhood education globally. BEGiN offers children the best start possible through digital, physical, and experiential learning programs that have won over 60 awards and served 12MM families. BEGiN is backed by the most recognized names in early childhood development, including LEGO Ventures, Sesame Workshop, and Gymboree Play & Music.
Neal is also a Co-Founder of JioSaavn, the largest South Asian streaming music service globally, which was acquired by Reliance Industries, the largest conglomerate in India, in a transaction valued at over $1BN. Saavn reaches 180MM+ consumers and was chosen by Forbes as one of “America’s Most Promising Companies”.
Neal is a Founding Partner at [212]MEDIA which builds consumer media ventures in fragmented markets alongside major media companies. In addition to Saavn and BEGiN, Neal co-founded each of the [212]MEDIA portfolio companies including LeagueApps, the largest independent SaaS platform for recreational sports, and LiftMetrix, a leading content analytics company which was acquired by Hootsuite to form the backbone of their big data strategy. The companies in the [212]MEDIA portfolio represent a collective enterprise value of $3BN+ today and growing and have attracted investment from some of the top strategic and financial investors globally including Bertelsmann Corp., Liberty Media, Major League Baseball, Tiger Global Management, and Wellington Management. Neal also works very closely with leading family offices globally on their education and impact related investment strategies.
Neal earned a B.S.F.S. in International Relations at the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University where he served as the President of the Academic Council and received the Dean’s Citation for Excellence in Leadership and Academics.
He has lectured on topics ranging from Entrepreneurship, Storytelling, and Social Impact at educational institutions such as Columbia Business School and New York University and corporations such as Conde Naste. Neal has the distinction of having won over 50+ awards throughout his career in public speaking and debate and was rated #2 nationally in the U.S. his senior year in high school in Parliamentary Debate.
