Mr. Gil Hermon
Mr. Hermon is an experienced investment executive and fund manager. Mr. Hermon is co-founder and managing partner of Blue Arch Capital, an opportunistic real estate platform focused on investments in value-add and diverse real estate asset classes, throughout the US. Mr. Hermon, is founder and managing partner of the Florida Value Funds and HSL Capital, private equity funds with a real estate investment focus. Among others, Mr. Hermon’s funds are investors and general partners in multifamily owners /operators with over $3 billion in assets. In addition, Mr. Hermon’s funds acquired equity stakes in hotels, student housing projects, single family homes and several private businesses. Between 1996 and 1998, Mr. Hermon was a Senior Associate with the investment banking department of Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York where he was responsible for execution of public offerings of over $5 billion and M&A transaction of over $6 billion of mostly real estate companies. Between 1998 and 2001, Mr. Hermon was a Partner with the investment partnership Shaykin & Co., a private equity firm in New York. Between 2001 and 2003, Mr. Hermon served as vice president and partner at the Challenge Funds, which managed over $250 million in assets and had investments in over eighty portfolio companies.
Mr. Hermon holds a BS in Economics and Labor Relations from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Boston University.
