In his young carrer, Ali has acquired a rare set of skills; Product Development, marketing, startup investment/advising, enterprise risk, compliance, both government and international relations and business development. Ali has an undergraduate degree in Economic Geography and earned Global MBA from partnering universities Case Western Reserve University, Tongji University (Shanghai) and XLRI University (India), where he studied at each university.

Ali led and co-founded Public Bloc, Inc. a blockchain solutions firm based in Washington D.C. The most notable deal was with the Ivory Coast Government in 2018 and a 2020 project with the U.S. Census Labs and the EPA, creating the first blockchain B2B marketplace for recycled materials.

Prior to starting Public Bloc, Ali was a channel and partnership executive at IBM. Where his clients included over few hundred fortune 500 companies in the following verticals: Auto’s, Energy, Renewables, Aerospace and Defense, Industrial Manufactures, Chemicals and Electronics.

Currently, Ali leads iXplore Labs, and their first product is the Grapevines App. The grapevines app is challenging ideas about the future of the retail experience. A next generation rewards-based marketplace for small business and brands. Creates an ecosystem of “Pokémon Go” like experiences for participating retailers and advertisers. Ali vision is to create products and services for the underserved. Therefore, he sees Grapevinesapp as the natural integrator to businesses that are not serviced, for the next step in digital and consumer evolution “Web.3”.

Additionally, Ali, was an analysis at the U.S. Treasury department and was contributor member of the team that crafted the first U.S. Crypto and Marijuana Regulations. He was also hand selected to be a member of the organizations restructuring team. In December 2019, Ali was selected to be a member of both the National Small Business Association (64,000-member organization), Leadership Council and the Small Business Technology Council. Ali has also, consulted on variety projects (technology, financial, crypto, blockchain, logistics, manufacturing etc.), and programs throughout Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.
