

George Lee
George Lee is the founder and CEO of Sea Forrest, a leading company specializing in marine and battery technologies. With over 20 years of experience in the maritime and offshore sectors, George has been at the forefront of developing innovative energy storage solutions that address the growing need for sustainability in the maritime industry.
His career began in 2001 when he received a Keppel Corp scholarship and joined KeppelFELS as a mechanical engineer. Over the years, George advanced to become Project Manager for the construction of new semi-submersibles. He further developed his leadership capabilities in senior positions at CIMC Raffles Shipyard (formerly Yantai Raffles Shipyard), where he served as Project Director, Acting CTO, and Marketing Director. In 2011, George founded Sea Forrest.
George’s entrepreneurial spirit is driven by his childhood passion for the ocean and marine life, particularly seaweed, which led him to establish Sea Forrest with the vision of creating eco-friendly solutions for the maritime sector. Under his leadership, Sea Forrest has become known for its flagship products, such as the Energy Cube Marine & Offshore Containerised Energy Storage and the high-performance Seagen 06 12.4V LTO Battery, both of which are certified by renowned classification societies, including ABS, BV, and RINA.
Through his visionary leadership, Sea Forrest has also developed marine-class energy storage systems like Seagen11, Seagen 26, and Seagen 06 with associated controls. Sea Forrest also has made significant strides in the integration of hybrid propulsion systems and wired and wireless charging solutions. George is deeply committed to advancing sustainable power solutions that contribute to the long-term viability of the coastal maritime community.
Outside of his professional endeavors, George is an avid cyclist and enjoys exploring the island on his bike. He is also a passionate advocate for sustainability, particularly in the areas of marine conservation and environmental stewardship.
