In May 2021, Special Agent (SA) Ellen Kolos was selected to serve as the Primary Relief Supervisor for the Crimes Against Children Squad in the Miami Field Office.  In December 2023, SA Kolos was selected to be the Acting Supervisory Special Agent of the Crimes Against Children Squad where she leads FBI Miami’s Child Exploitation Human Trafficking Task Force.

SA Kolos entered on duty with the FBI as a Special Agent in 2016 and, following training, was assigned to the Miami Field Office to investigate Health Care Fraud matters. In 2021, SA Kolos was assigned to work Crimes Against Children investigations in the Miami Field Office. SA Kolos is a member of the Miami Field Office Evidence Response Team and has participated in processing multiple mass tragedy crime scenes.  SA Kolos is a member of the Financial Crimes Response Team and has participated in complex financial investigations.
