Donald Nelson is the Investment Director at AWB Capital, a Latin American single family office. The focus of AWB Capital is multigenerational capital appreciation for the principal and their family. Donald allocates capital and leads the due diligence in public and private markets across a broad spectrum of asset classes. He also leads strategic initiatives at the family office to improve its technology and infrastructure.

Before joining the family office in 2021, Donald managed portfolios and generated investment ideas for sophisticated ultra high net worth clients at J.P. Morgan’s Global Investment Opportunities Group in NYC.

Donald graduated cum laude from University of Miami with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship, alongside a concentration in Chinese Language & Culture. He’s fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Italian, and conversational in Mandarin.
