

Amanda Reed
Amanda Reed is the Chief Investment Officer in Residence at Loeb.nyc. In this role, she advises Mr. Loeb and select families on venture capital and private equity investment strategies, mentors rising family members in entrepreneurship and investments, and works closely with portfolio CEOs to raise capital, enhance impact and increase financial returns. Previous roles include CEO of CrowdSmart, a pioneering human-interactive AI for collaborative problem solving, Head of Investment and Partnership for global long-horizon innovation at GIC, the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Singapore, and Managing Director of Palomar Ventures, a $500MM venture capital partnership investing in transformative enterprise and consumer technologies. Ms. Reed’s career began after graduating from Dartmouth College as a founding team member or early employee in three consecutive Silicon Valley start-ups which led to two IPOs. She is a fourth gen entrepreneur in her own family and a passionate advocate of Mr. Loeb’s philosophy which encourages families to invest in entrepreneurs as the foundation of the American economy and an essential element in sustained family growth and flourishing.
